Curriculum Vitae - Krish Chetty

Krish Chetty is a data warehouse developer and researcher in Information and Knowledge Management, with a Masters degree from Stellenbosch University. He has 11+ years of work experience in both the public and private sectors. Krish’s areas of expertise pertain to data warehouse development, social science research, economic modelling and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) measurement. He is also a member of the SDGs Sectoral Working Group managed by Statistics South Africa. At the Human Sciences Research Council, Krish spearheads various research projects in the Digital Economy, infrastructure financing, employment targeting and economic modelling, together with systems development projects such as the construction of a BRICS wide data warehouse informed by pillars of the BRICS Long Term Strategy. Krish's topic for his PHD study focuses on the application of Big Data analysis techniques to measure aspects of wellbeing.
