Register as Registered Reader

The registration on the Economics website allows the reader to take part in the open assessment of discussion papers and articles (i.e., to post comments). To register you will need to provide your name, institution, academic status in economics or related research fields, and CV in English language. This information is meant to ensure that only qualified readers can post comments.

Please note that you do not have to be registered for reading or downloading papers. If you only wish to receive alerts informing about new discussion papers or articles, please go to http://www.economics-ejournal.org/alerting_service_form



Data Protection Statement – registered readers

(1) By giving your consent you can subscribe to our registered readers initiative which we use to inform you about our current work and especially about new papers.

(2) We use the double opt-in procedure for subscribing to our newsletter. This means that after your registration we will send you an e-mail to the specified e-mail address in which we ask you to confirm that you in fact would like to take part in our registered readers initiative. If you do not confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses and the date and time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.

(3) After your confirmation we will save your data for the purpose of sending you e-mails about the e-journal´s work and to control whether you are authorized to upload comments to the e-journal´s platform. The legal basis for the above is Art. 6 Sect. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a DS-GMO [General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)].

(4) You can rescind your consent at any time and cancel it. You can declare your cancellation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail, by e-mail to editorial-office@economics-ejournal.org. After cancellation/rescission of the alerting, we will delete your contact data for all future use, as your cancellation affects the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have issued your cancellation.
