Data Protection Statement – Alerting Service

(1) By giving your consent you can subscribe to our alerting service which we use to inform you about our current work and events.

(2) We use the double opt-in procedure for subscribing to our alerting service. This means that after your registration we will send you an e-mail to the specified e-mail address in which we ask you to confirm that you in fact would like the alerting to be sent. If you do not confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses and the date and time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.

(3) The only information for sending the alerting is your e-mail address. After your confirmation we will save your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the alerting. The legal basis for the above is Art. 6 Sect. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a DS-GMO [General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)].

(4) You can rescind your consent to the sending of the alerting at any time and cancel it. You can declare your cancellation by clicking on the link provided in every alerting e-mail and by e-mail to After cancellation/rescission of the alerting, we will delete your contact data for all future use, as your cancellation affects the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have issued your cancellation.
